Housing Manager

GENERAL SUMMARY
The Housing Manager is a full-time, live-in professional staff position responsible for providing quality housing for students; maintaining a safe, healthy, learning and living environment; addressing student conduct issues; and managing the resident assistant program. The Housing Manager provides leadership for on campus residential areas and shares the responsibility for developing and maintaining residential communities which facilitate student growth and development. The position has “on call” responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure quality housing for students
- Create an inclusive residential environment which fosters diversity and contributes to the total development of each individual
- Conduct regular inspections of the student housing facility and student units; identify problem areas, and enlist means to correct. Report, track and follow up on maintenance issues with appropriate building managers, maintenance and cleaning staff etc. Coordinate with outside vendors and/or property management to ensure all repairs and maintenance issues are completed in a timely manner
- Coordinates administrative functions for area including student check-in, check-out, room changes, damage assessment, student billing, key maintenance and room/apartment condition reports
- Respond to emergency and crisis situations, and make appropriate referrals as needed
- Provide coverage of student housing facility during off-hours and weekends, in the absence of a Resident Assistant
- Serve as primary conduct officer for student conduct issues in housing. Administer and implement housing policies and procedures. Ensure that appropriate sanctions are carried out in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate student conduct records
- Supervise, train and evaluate Resident Assistant staff
- Provide direction and coordination for all Housing community development and co-curricular activities
- Maintain key inventory records, room assignments and emergency contact information
- Maintain an awareness of current issues and developments in higher education and student personnel
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Staff and support college business initiatives including new student orientations and admission open houses
- Represent the department on college committees and at college events as needed
- Participates in improvement initiatives

Marketing Manager
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Kendall College, affiliated with Laureate International Universities and one of Chicago's most prestigious Culinary and Hospitality institutions is in search of a Marketing Manager. This position represents a tremendous growth opportunity as the institution plans to expand to a national presence.
The Marketing Manager will help develop and execute marketing strategies and tactics for the Kendall College. This individual will be responsible for understanding the target market and collaborating with cross-functional team members to develop an integrated marketing plan designed to generate inquiries to meet growth goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with various functional departments.
- Ensure audience-marketing plans are synergistic with overall educational institution positioning and strategies.
- Develop integrated marketing plans with a multi-channel approach i.e.(Direct Mail, Online Advertising, Website, Tradeshow, Print Advertising)
- Work collaboratively with other marketing departments to solicit input on strategies and tactics behind marketing plan.
- Represent the marketing team resources as a member of the product cross-functional team.
- Identify issues; engage appropriate marketing team members as necessary.
- Identify and execute on unique messaging and product attributes.
- Lead cross-functional execution of all marketing plan initiatives.
- Track performance of marketing strategy through measurement and analysis of prospective student inquiries, conversion, and retention to understand effectiveness and ROI.
- Initiate and lead course correction with their cross-functional team members when issues arise in achieving goals.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Obtain in-depth understanding of the company business plans and strategies.
- Interface effectively with Product Management, Enrollment Management, Product Development, and Academic leadership to collaborate on key messaging and strategies to achieve growth goals.
- Provide feedback and direction for future programs and campaigns.
- Interface with academic partners to ensure clear understanding of program elements such as admissions requirements, course curriculum, program outcomes, and professional accreditations.
- Provide timely and accurate communication to Enrollment, Product Management and Sales Teams to ensure awareness of and participation in all marketing events.
- Execute all activities in a timely and accurate manner including status reports, expense reports, budget development, forecast updates and marketing plans.
- Measure, report and analyze all marketing activity: Quantify expected results and track performance.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:
The successful candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Bachelors degree required, MBA or graduate level education preferred.
- Minimum 7+ years marketing management experience required.
- Co-Marketing, Advertising, Membership marketing, Direct or Web marketing experience is a plus.
- Experience in understanding market research and business analytics
- Exceptional problem solving and analytic skills.
- Possess strong leadership abilities in the areas of managing and executing marketing programs and tactics.
- Experience in developing marketing plans and tactics to drive lead generation and conversion activities
- Experience in working with Lead-generating marketing programs that include but not limited to media, direct mail, telemarketing, seminars, trade shows, events and on-line campaigns.
- Must have experience developing and managing a budget and understanding financial implications of marketing programs.
- Experience managing strategic projects, ability to understand big picture.
- Strong presentation and meeting facilitation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- A good listener, collaborator, and influencer.
- High level of enthusiasm, functions well in a team-driven and highly dynamic environment.

- Previous experience in the higher education marketplace is a plus as well.

Associate Director of International Admissions
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director of International Admissions, the Associate Director of International Admissions will oversee the international student recruitment efforts in the Latin American Region. This position will: ensure enrollment growth by recruiting international students whose needs and academic profiles align with admissions requirements; facilitate strong relationships with agents, sponsors and partner institutions; analyze and interpret data from the program’s student information system; develop and implement a strategic plan for marketing and recruitment in the assigned region.

- 5-7 years of progressively responsible higher education experience, with at least 3 years in recruitment or enrollment management.
- Experience living, working, or studying abroad and fluency in one or more foreign languages.
- Experience liaising with external agencies, including overseas organizations, and working with a wide range of people with diverse backgrounds, as required for building constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in the use of computer-based student information systems as well as spreadsheet, database and web applications.
- Willingness to undertake extensive international and domestic travel (50-60% International Travel).
- Ability to work flexible schedules (some evenings and weekends)
