Every year, Kendall College welcomes new international students from all over the world. The following information applies to international students that are not currently enrolled in the Les Roches Swiss Hotel Association School of Hotel Management.

Application Procedures

International students are permitted to apply for, and enroll in, any of our full time degree granting programs. In order to complete the application process to Kendall, international students are required to provide the following documentation to us:

  • Completed Application for Admission.
  • Official Secondary School Transcripts, Marks Sheets, or Ending Examination Results.
  • Official High School transcript with graduation date, and, if applicable, Official College or University transcripts. Please note, ALL transcripts must be translated to English and evaluated by a foreign credential evaluation service - World Educational Services (http://www.wes.org/) or Educational Credential Evaluators (http://www.ece.org/). If you wish to receive transfer credit for College or University coursework, you will also need to request a “Course-by-Course” transcript evaluation in English from WES/ECE. WES/ECE will then send the evaluation results directly to Kendall College. If you use a service other than WES or ECE, please ensure the company is approved and recognized by NAFSA: Association of International Educators.
  • If English is not your native language, you will also need to complete an English Language Fluency Examination. This can be completed in any of the following methods:
    • TOEFL Test: Attaining scores in any of the following TOEFL Examinations (Kendall’s TOEFL Code is 1366):
      • Paper-Based TOEFL: Minimum of 525
      • Computer-Based TOEFL: Minimum of 200
      • Internet-Based TOEFL: Minimum of 71
    • IELTS Result of a Band 5.5 or higher
    • SAT Verbal Score of 425 or higher
    • ACT English Score of 18 or higher
    • Les Roches English Test: Passing Mark. For information about the Les Roches English Test, please contact tfitzgibbon@kendall.edu.
  • Financial Documentation: We will need to receive proof, by means of bank statements, that indicate that the applying student has access to the equivalent of US$30,000 to pay for the first 12 months of tuition and living expenses at the College.
  • Confidential Statement of Financial Support: In the event the required funds are not in the name of the student, we will need to receive a letter, in English, indicating that the listed funds are being made available for the student for their expenses at Kendall College.
  • Copy of the Passport Identity Page
  • Proof of Medical Insurance

Once you have compiled the required information, it may be sent directly to us, to the attention of Tom FitzGibbon, Director of International Admissions at tfitzgibbon@kendall.edu.
