Students and former students may obtain their transcripts in a number of ways. Please note that e-mailed requests cannot be processed, as a signed release is required.

OFFICIAL Transcripts

These are transcripts enclosed in an envelope sealed by a school official who has signed and placed an embossed school seal on the transcript. Official transcripts are used by colleges and universities to award transfer credit, some employers, and a few scholarship agencies.

There is a $7 transcript fee for each copy of an official transcript requested, and transcripts can only be sent out after the Business Office declares that the student has fulfilled all financial obligations to the college and is not in default on his or her loans. Please allow two weeks for us to process your request. Official transcripts can be obtained by any of the following:

1. Stop by the office to request the transcript in person.

2. Mail a request for an OFFICIAL transcript.

3. Fax a request for an OFFICIAL transcript to 312-752-2139 (please follow up with a call to make sure that it has arrived).

All methods will require the following information:

  • Name at the time you attended
  • Social Security Number
  • Approximate dates of attendance/degrees earned
  • Phone number where you can be reached if we have questions
  • Complete address of where the transcripts are to be sent
  • $7 transcript fee
  • Most importantly - your signature

If you are mailing or faxing your request,
be sure to include a statement giving Kendall permission to charge your credit card for the transcript fee. Please provide the card type (Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Discover), the card number, the expiration date, and the name as it appears on the card.

We can not accept e-mailed requests for transcripts since a signature is required for the release of grade information.

UNOFFICIAL Transcripts

These are transcripts that are not sealed by a school official and do not contain the signature of a school official. Unofficial transcripts are used for a student's personal records, many places of employment, and many scholarship agencies. Unofficial transcripts are free to students and may be obtained by any of the following:

1. Stop by the Office to request a copy.

2. Mail a request for your UNOFFICIAL transcripts.

3. Fax a request to 312-752-2139 (please follow up with a call to make sure that it has arrived).

All methods will require the following information:

  • Name at the time you attended
  • Social Security Number
  • Approximate dates of attendance/degrees earned
  • Phone number where you can be reached if we have questions
  • Complete address of where the transcripts are to be sent
  • Most importantly - your signature
