Academic Advisor
Kendall College is seeking an Academic Advisor join its Early Childhood Education Advising Office. Reporting to the Senior Director of Student Administration, this position will work closely with students in the School of Education.

Responsibilities:
-Work with assigned students quarterly to register for classes and answer questions
-Work with new students in Early Childhood Education programs to clarify program specifics and expectations
-Assist students in the development and maintenance of graduation path, including an understanding of transfer credit
-Work closely with assigned student population to resolve attendance, academic, and personal issues as they arise
-Connect students to other College resources

Position Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred
-Higher education experience in Admissions or Academic Advising, preferably with online and/or adult student population
-Desire to work closely with students in an advisory capacity
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – in person, by phone, and in writing
-Strong customer-service skills
-Persistent and encouraging attitude
-Team player able to work closely with Admissions, School of Education staff, Financial Aid, etc.
-Strong existing computer skills and ability to learn new systems and reporting mechanisms
-Learning agility to become familiar with programs, policies, and procedures rapidly
-Highly organized and attentive to detail

Full-time Faculty Position
Kendall College seeks a full-time faculty member in the Spanish department. Position begins July 2008.

Responsibilities: Teach three Spanish language courses per quarter; assist the Director of General Education in the hiring and development of adjunct faculty; collaborate with the Director of General Education and Provost in ongoing curricular review; participate in college-wide assessment efforts; and work collaboratively as part of the general education team.

Qualifications: A Masters degree in Spanish; demonstrated excellence in college-level teaching required; PhD preferred.

Part-time Adjunct Faculty
The Department of General Education seeks adjunct instructors for the Summer and Fall 08 terms in the following subjects:

The Summer Term begins on July 7 and ends September 11, 2008, and the Fall Term begins on September 24 and ends December 5, 2008. Qualifications: At least a Masters degree in the concentration you wish to teach and classroom or online college-level teaching experience.

Assistant to the Registrar

is currently accepting applications for a full-time Assistant to the Registrar position. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in the coordination of daily operations of the Registrar’s office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
o Answering and directing incoming phone calls.
o Organizing and overseeing incoming mail.
o Sorting and entering all incoming academic transcripts.
o Overseeing incoming facsimiles and general voice mail.
o Processing registration forms, add/drop forms.
o Verifying enrollment requests and processing deferment forms.
o Maintaining student files in a confidential manner.
o Assisting with special projects.
o Performing other tasks as needed and assigned by the Registrar.

Requirements/Skills:
o Bachelor’s degree required.
o Two years of higher education experience. Experience in Registration or Records preferred.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
o Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
o Ability to multitask and maintain focus while managing interruptions.
o Strong organization skills and attention to detail.

Baking And Pastry Chef Instructor
Position Description:
To accommodate growing culinary and baking and pastry programs at Kendall College, the School of Culinary Arts is looking for a Baking and Pastry Chef Instructor to the culinary faculty.  The principle duties of this position will be to teach a wide range of topics in the baking and pastry disciplines. 

Credentials Required for Consideration

Marketing Analyst

Job Description:
Responsible for sales (Admissions) and channel lead analysis, database management, and generation of weekly reporting tools used for providing Sr. Management with a snapshot of weekly sales and marketing performance metrics and statistics. The Market Analyst works closely with the Directors of Admissions and Marketing to address their research needs and formulate appropriate solutions.

Database Management and Integrity: Responsible for understanding all of the college’s sales related database programs, establishing procedures for acquiring, entering and verifying sales & marketing data related to admissions activities. Knowledge of Salesforce

Data Interpretation, Presentation, and Marketing: Responsible for the aggregation, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of market research data. Develop interpretations and graphics of sales & marketing trends and may participate in presentations to senior management.

Research Resources:
Understands and manages research-related data sources, recommends new sources and evaluates existing products.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in statistics, market research or business administration).
  • At least 3 years professional experience in enrollment analysis, market research or related field.
  • Extensive database and project management experience
  • Strong analytical, writing, presentation and interpersonal skills

Faculty of Early Childhood Teacher Education
