As a Kendall Business student, you must complete two internships, one at the end of your sophomore year and one at the end of your senior year. Internships are typically associated to the student’s intended concentration.
In order to be considered a Kendall internship, the student must be employed for at least 400 hours per three-month period completed at a Kendall-approved internship site. Your academic coursework, regular performance evaluations, and a business analysis of the internship site measure your work performance as well as your understanding of business concepts as applied to professional work environments.
Internship Prerequisites:
Before starting an internship, you must be in good academic and financial standing, attend and Professional Development workshops and pass benchmarks as prescribed, and meet with your Career Services Counselor.
Sophomore Internship:
This opportunity lets you challenge, test, and hone the knowledge and competencies you have acquired and developed in your first two years and helps you prepare for your final two years with insights into the business world.
Senior Internship:
This opportunity typically helps you segue into a permanent employment or management training position while gaining in-depth experience in your chosen concentration. International Business students will typically choose to arrange an internship outside of the United States.
