Improving and refining your skills is the main goal of the culinary internship. As a Culinary Arts student, you must complete a three-month (400-hour) internship. Our students pursue internships in restaurants, catering companies, pastry shops, bakeries, resorts, sport and fitness clubs, food retail and food service companies, and even photography studios. In most cases, you have the option to take either a three- or six-month internship. Currently, 65% of students opt for a six-month internship, an opportunity Career Services strongly recommends for students working toward a B.A. degree in Culinary Arts.

Internship Pre-requisites:
Before starting an internship, you must be in good academic and financial standing, attend and pass the Professional Development class, pass the Advanced Skills class, pass the sanitation exam, and meet with your Career Services Counselor.
