Get involved! Kendall offers a diverse array of student clubs, organizations, and activities that are sure to enhance college life. From multiculturalism and student government to community volunteerism, student clubs represent your interests and concerns and reflect your hopes and dreams. If you don’t find the group you’re seeking, take the opportunity to start a new one!
Student Government Federation (SGF)
Student government is your organization. SGF offers leadership opportunities and gives you a voice in building and improving the campus community. SGF represents the student body on various committees and boards within the College, such as the Board of Trustees and Faculty Senate. SGF is elected at the beginning of the Fall Quarter with the term of service extending for three academic quarters. Elected officers must be in good standing with the college and may not be freshman. Every student is allowed to be member of SGF, but only upper classman may hold titles. In conjunction with the College, SGF offers museum trips, concerts, excursions to Six Flags Great America, Chicago Cubs and Chicago Blackhawks games, and many other local community and sporting events. Favorites include the Spring Dance and the Amazing Race.

Connections Club
We are what we eat, and it’s about time we found out exactly what goes into our food. Give your food the thought it deserves. Connections Club is all about awareness. This club’s objective is to create a forum where issues that concern everyone who eats and cooks can be discussed. The club offers resources to the Kendall community so that we can better evaluate food supply issues affecting consumers. Members believe it is important to know how food reaches our plates, including the path it takes from the farm, through processing, to consumers; and how it impacts everyone’s health, the global economy, and U.S. politics. We bring in expert speakers, hold tastings, and show videos to increase awareness of the paths agricultural products travel before reaching the table. YOU CAN MAKE A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE!
