Parent Workshop and Student Panel: Interactive discussions about preparing to send your teen off to college, what to expect from the process and how to make the transition as smooth as possible. Meanwhile, future students have the opportunity to meet with current students and discover what Kendall is really like. Parent Workshop 10:45 a.m. - Student Panel 11:15 a.m.
Adult Learner Session: You can manage work and life demands while you go back to college! Learn about options including combined online and weekend programs, and hear from adult students who make the most of doing it all. 12:15 p.m.
Transitioning from High School to College: There are a lot of things to consider when deciding to go to college, and some can be quite overwhelming. This seminar will assist you in planning out your senior year of High School to prepare for your next big move - from financial aid and scholarship applications, to transcripts, personal statements and campus visits. If this is the first time someone in your family is going to college, this seminar is the right fit and will answer all your questions. 11:45 a.m.
Financial Aid Q & A Sessions: Learn about financial assistance opportunities including Kendall Scholarships, government loans and outside resources. Chat with Financial Aid representatives about the process of funding your college education. 10:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.
Online Course Demonstration: See how to navigate Kendall's convenient online learning environment in a student-led presentation. 12:00 p.m.
U.S. Veteran Benefits Guidance: Chat with the School Certifying Official and a U.S. veteran currently enrolled at Kendall to see how to navigate through utilizing your veteran benefits at Kendall College.
Live Cooking Demonstrations: See our culinary students and professional chef instructors in action, as well as presentations by hospitality management and business students.
Tours + Tips: Ask questions of all Kendall student support departments—Financial Aid, Academic Advising, Career Services, Housing, Student Life and more!
