Advanced Seminar in Entrepreneurial Strategies

Spend one month in the United States participating in an intensive seminar that immerses you in coursework and field study covering the topics of entrepreneurship, finance, leadership and American culture.

Seminar application must be submitted at least 60 days prior to start.

  All courses include in-class and field study, and collectively equal four (4) credit hours which will be represented on your Kendall-issued transcript upon completion of the seminar.

Creating and justifying the idea
Entrepreneurial Finance and Strategies
Operationalizing and funding the idea

Leadership and Culture
Supporting and sustaining the idea and the entrepreneur

  Courses will be held Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 16:00. Evening and weekend activities will range from special meals and city tours to cultural experiences and social outings.

8:00-9:00 Breakfast
9:00-11:00 Introduction to Entreprenuership in the U.S.
11:30-13:30 Tour, discussion and lunch with a local business owner
14:00-16:00 Field study and team workshop
16:30-20:00 Dinner and evening social activity




  Housing accommodations are included in the cost of the seminar and will be managed through Kendall College. You will enjoy one month residing in Downtown Chicago at one of Kendall’s student dormitories surrounded by fashionable shopping, world class restaurants and exciting attractions.

Tuition and Fees

  Seminar tuition and fees must be paid at least 45 days prior to start



  • Seminar tuition for three courses outlined
  • Participant materials for three courses outlined
  • Excursions related to the academic topics of the courses outlined



  • Meals at Kendall when courses are in session and housing accommodations
  • Airport transfers during specific arrival and departure dates
  • Ventra Card for unlimited use on public transportation for the duration of the seminar
  • Weekly cultural activities
  • Emergency medical and liability insurance valid for the duration of seminar
