Students at Large

Students who are not actively seeking degrees at Kendall College but would like to enroll in academic programs are required to submit:

  • Application 
  • Official high school transcript with graduation date and unweighted cumulative GPAof at least 2.0 on a 4-point scale OR official college transcript with
    at least 12 earned semester credits OR 18 earned quarter credits (with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0).

Students-at-Large may complete up to twenty-four quarter hours of coursework for transfer into one of Kendall's degree programs. Exceptions to the twenty-four credit hour limit may be granted to students covered by articulation agreements that stipulate higher numbers of credit hours.

A student-at-large looking to complete any courses that are part of Kendall College's Early Childhood Education Post-Baccalaureate Type 04 Certification Program must show proof of having passed the IL Basic Skills Test /Test of Academic Proficiency or get dean approval before taking classes at Kendall College.

Admissibility under student-at-large status is entirely within the discretion of the Office of Admissions and the appropriate Program Dean. These students are not eligible for standard financial aid programs.
