Chef Dina Altieri began her culinary education career as a chef instructor and department chair at the California School of Culinary Arts in Pasadena, California in 1997. Most recently, she worked as chef instructor and associate dean for the New England Culinary Institute. While in Vermont, Chef Altieri graduated summa cum laude from Johnson State College with a bachelor degree in liberal arts in 2007. Chef Altieri is certified with the American Culinary Federation as an Executive Chef and Culinary Educator. She has been a master class presenter for Foodservice Educators Network International, contributing writer for Chef Educator Today magazine, and a featured chef “A Woman’s Place is in the Kitchen” and “In Mother’s Kitchen” by Ann Cooper.
