Kendall College has made a plan of Blanket Accident and Health Insurance, underwritten by Guarantee Trust Life Insurance Company, available to the students and their dependents.
The coverage is designed to provide benefits for medical expenses arising from an injury or sickness, including those that occur off campus and during interim vacations.
Student Accident and Sickness Insurance Plan brochures are available in the Student Life Office located on the second floor in Room 239.
Students who have their own insurance and do not wish to be covered by Kendall’s Insurance need to fill out the form and submit it to the Business Office Room 226 upon initial registration and each Fall Quarter. Otherwise the insurance fees outlined in the pamphlet will apply.
Student Insurance Claim forms must be completed if a bill is received and is only applicable to students who carry the Student Insurance of Kendall.
Effective with the Fall 2014 quarter, all international students will be required to take the Kendall health insurance policy regardless of any coverage you may have in your home country. This is to ensure you have adequate medical coverage while you study in the United States. Kendall’s insurance policy will take effect beginning October 1, 2014 and your student account will be billed quarterly. The current quarterly cost of coverage is USD $300.00 for students under the age of 35 For any questions please contact the Office of International Affairs

Kendall College International Student Insurance Waiver Requirements
In order to waive the Kendall College Student Health Insurance Plan, your private or government policy must meet the following criteria:
Have $50,000 or more provision for medical evacuation to the international student’s home country.
Have $25,000 or more provision for repatriation (removal of remains after death) to the international student’s home country.
All waivers must be approved by the Office of International Affairs before submitting the waiver form to the Business Office. If your policy is not specific or does not meet all of the above requirements, you will be required to enroll in the Kendall College health insurance policy. There are no appeals if a waiver is denied for the academic quarter.
Requests for waivers must be submitted to the Office of International Affairs no later than your International Orientation date.
